Deb Barber

Deb Barber serves as a Property & Casualty Agent at FEI & GAC Wealth Management, bringing five years of experience in the insurance industry and a lifelong commitment to serving others. Although originally born in Upstate New York, Deb has called Manatee County home since a young age. It’s where she and her husband first crossed paths during their high school years, raised their two children, and where she has built her life and career ever since.

Deb’s path to insurance was an unexpected one. During the COVID pandemic, a family member already in the industry encouraged her to explore the field. She quickly discovered that insurance aligned perfectly with something she had always valued: helping people protect what matters most. For Deb, every client conversation is an extension of a lifelong calling to serve.

At FEI & GAC, we offer insurance & retirement solutions to everyone in the state of Florida, with a specialty in assisting educators, first responders, and military personnel. For Deb, this mission is deeply personal. Her husband proudly served in the U.S. Army for 28 years before retiring in 2022, and he continues to serve the community today as Logistics Supervisor for the North River Fire District and he is a certified firefighter, although currently not serving.

Outside of the office, Deb is an active member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, participating through her local chapter in causes that blend her love of genealogy with meaningful work in historic preservation, education, and patriotism. When she and her husband aren’t giving back to their community, you’ll find them at a hockey game, exploring the underwater world through SCUBA diving, or traveling together.
