Bob Mathisen

Originally from Long Island, New York, Bob Mathisen relocated to Tampa in 2019 to join Citibank. Now residing in Tampa with his wife, Joyce, Bob is a proud parent of two daughters and brings an impressive depth of experience to his role as a Financial Advisor with FEI & GAC Wealth Management.

Bob has dedicated over 35 years to the securities industry, holding various senior leadership positions at renowned institutions such as Citibank, BNY Mellon, and JP Morgan. His extensive Wall Street background is complemented by his experience as a middle school teacher in Hillsborough County and as a Retirement Specialist in Indian River County, giving him a unique perspective on the needs of public sector employees.

Bob is passionate about helping public employees plan for a successful financial future. He has an immense level of respect for the role they play in educating our country’s future. This passion is reflected in his ongoing community involvement where he currently serves as a Board Member for Champions for Children, Tampa, and as a coach for the Special Olympics.

Beyond the office, Bob enjoys music, sports, and reading. His favorite book, "Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win."
